MACCIA is the apex chamber of the State founded in the year 1927 by the great visionary industrialist Late Seth Walchand Hirachand. The Chamber plays a pivotal role in supplementing and augmenting the efforts of Government for the economic development of the State and advancement of its people.
IMTMA was started with around 20 machine tool manufacturers joining hands to form an association which has grown in size to the current number of over 475 members, representing over 90% of the organized machine tool and allied equipment manufacturers. The initiatives and activities of IMTMA are constantly focused at providing something in return to the industry, for the industry and by the industry.
The organization has established itself as a body committed to Industrial progress with the motto Prosperity through Industry. It has been recognized by Government as an apex organization of industry and given representation on most of the policy making bodies of the Central and State Governments.
The association represents a world class pool of talent in engineering and management skills, having proven track record in basic design, multidisciplinary detailed engineering, manufacturing of plant and equipment, transportation, installation, construction at sites, erection and commissioning of process plants.
The Engineering Exports Promotion Council was set up by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India in the year 1955 as an association of engineering goods manufacturers; its mandate is to promote the export of Indian engineering goods abroad.
An association of private ports and terminal operators of container terminals and bulk terminals of India. IPPTA has been formed to address the need to form a strong representative body of Indian private ports and terminal operators as an industry, which is one of the successful privatization industries in India today. Members of IPPTA, all existing private operators cumulatively represent an investment of more than Rs. 6500 crore in port sector.
The Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA) is the nodal agency for the Indian Auto Component Industry. Its active involvement in trade promotion, technology up-gradation, quality enhancement and collection and dissemination of information has made it a vital catalyst for this industries development. Its other activities include participation in international trade fairs, sending trade delegations overseas and bringing out publications on various subjects related to the automotive industry.
