We work on a two-layer support system.We have a dealers network spread across the country. The dealers are professional in the similar field and are equipped with trained manpower for sales and after sales support and sufficient inventory of spares, says Neeraj Gaur, Managing Director, Fine Equipments (India). Excerpts from interview.

How do you rate the growth in 2012? Has the slowdown impacted your bottom lines?
The growth in terms of business is not much. It is almost the same as last year but yes, the bottom lines have been affected due to increase in exchange rate of USD and increased manpower cost.

When do you expect a recovery and what is the envisaged growth?
It?s very difficult to predict but hope the situation changes within next 12 months.Growth may vary from 10-25 per cent in our product range.

How do you assess the changing trends in using variety of attachments with excavators and loaders for the demolition segment?
There is an emerging trend for using various attachments, other than rock breakers, in the demolition segment but it is very slow. The rock breaker still remains the most widely used attachment. It will keep growing.

What is the growth prospect for attachments?
The growth prospects are there though presently, not so much in pulverisers or crushers; rock breakers are faring well, though.
