Terex Cranes delivered ten rubber tyred gantry cranes (RTGs), ordered by COSCO Pacific and Xiamen Haicang Investment Company, to operate in the Xiamen Ocean Gate Container Terminal Co based in Xiamen, China.
 
The cranes were ordered as part of a larger 20 units RTG for Phase 1 port terminal contract, to serve the increasing TEU volumes in Xiamen area generated by the rapid development of China?s booming economy. ?Our deci?sion was greatly influenced by Terex Port Equipment?s exce?llent reputation for robust reli?able performance. With contai?ner volumes through our Phase 1 terminal increasing constantly, we were looking for cranes cap?able of matching our inte?nsive handling needs in the long-term.
