LiuGong excavators go big at bauma
The company has introduced its new Model 945E excavator at bauma 2013. With its 45,500 kg operating weight, it's the largest excavator in LiuGong's growing 17-machine stable of track-mounted excavators. Featuring a 280 kW Cummins engine and a 2.2 cu m bucket, the 945E is ideal for high-production, high-volume applications in quarrying and heavy construction.
Contractors have come to expect extra power and productivity from LiuGong excavators - under some of the world's most extreme conditions. With the 945E, they can now expect even more. The turbo-charged, intercooled Tier II Cummins QSM11 engine works hard and long while minimising operating and maintenance costs."
The engine has the power, torque and durability needed for tough conditions and demanding cycle times, where higher hydraulic flow, greater bucket digging force (the 945 offers 288 kN) and superior lift capacity are absolute requirements.
