Crane manufacturer Anupam Indu?s?tries bagged a Rs 130 crore order to supply 22 cranes and hoists of various capacities at the Rourkela Steel Plant of Steel Authority of India (SAIL). This is within a year of it forming a joint venture with Japanese heavy engineering player Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) to manufacture port cranes and material handling equi?p?ment for domestic and global markets.
The contract also involves design, engineering, supply, installation, commi?ssioning and training and is scheduled for completion in June 2014.
?Anupam has been supplying cus?tomised cranes to SAIL for the past few years and this large order reinforces SAIL?s trust in Anupam as a lifting solutions provider to the integrated steel industry,? said Mehul Patel, Managing Director, Anupam Industries.
