Dozen bridges to be built in MP at Rs 46 cr

In Bhopal district of Madhya Pradesh, a total of 12 major bridges will be constructed at a cost of over Rs 46 crore over the next 5-6 years. Rs six crore will be spent on construction of a bridge over Bahm river on Berasia-Garha Kalan road. While another Rs 10 crore is earmarked on another bridge on the same river on Jamusar Kalan-Kadhaiyya Shah road.

In Sehore, Rs 2.58 crore will be spent on construction of a high-level culvert near existing stop-dam over a -ah between villages Itawa Kalan and Itarsi, Rs 2.19 crore on a bridge over Nedi river on Chorsa Kheri Dhaulpur road, Rs 5.28 crore on construction of rapta over Seep river in village Satdev, Rs 2.80 crore 80 on bridge at Rafiqganj Lodri and Rs 4.70 crore will be spent on the construction of a culvert over Ajnal river between Dongal Pani and Piplani.

In Tikamgarh, Rs 2.03 crore will be spent on construction of a bridge over Bargi river (Peepri Ghat) on Khakron-Luharguaon road and Rs 2.55 crore on bridge over Bargi river between village Mamora to Hatheri. About Rs 5.57 crore will be spent on construction of a bridge over Ganjal river for linking village Gadarpur in Harda district with village Naharkola in Hoshangabad district, Rs 11.10 crore on bridge over Pahooj river on Singhpura-Taidot road in Datia district and Rs 1.53 crore on a bridge over Barchha river at village Tisua near Karrapur in Sagar district.
