Global Rubbers Indu?stries, a Sri Lankan company established in 2002, has annou?nced the commi?ssioning of its second industrial tyre plant at a cost of $6 million.The plant was declared operational on 8  Sep?te?mber 2011 amidst a large gathering of distin?guished local and foreign invitees.With this new expa?nsion, the company would be able to produce 400,000 industrial solid resilient tyres as well as press on band tyres annually. The company has a workforce of over 500 personnel and will become one of the leading suppliers to the material handling industry.
