Kundarkocha gold mine is the only one gold mine being operated in Jharkhand. The gold mine is situated in Kundarkocha village of East Singhbhum district in the state.
The mine is operated and controlled by the lessee Manmohan Mineral Industries, said the Union Minister of Mines, Dinsha Patel said in a written reply in the Rajya Sabha recently.
