Pune-based Kirloskar Ebara Pumps (KEPL), a sister concern of Kirloskar Brothers India, won the Gold Prize (winner trophy) in an event organised by the Pune Chapter of Quality Circle Forum of India (QCFI). Established in 1982, Quality Circle Forum of India is a non-profit, non-political, national professional body that has successfully implemented quality concepts under the Total Quality Management umbrella across several industry verticals.

The winner trophy was awarded to KEPL after the company participated in QCFI-?s special programme called Quality Improvement Success Story where companies participated and shared their case studies on how they chalked out quality improvements successfully for their respective companies. Commenting on the prestigious QCFI award, Sunil Katare, Plant Head, KEPL, said, ?KEPL is delighted to receive the Gold Trophy. It is testimony to our continuous efforts in the field of quality improvement.
