Siemens inaugurates second phase
Progressing further with its expansion plans, Siemens recently inaugurated the second phase of its steam turbine and compressor manufacturing facility at Vadodara. The factory was inaugurated Narendra Modi, Chief Minister of Gujarat. This expansion has added three production bays to the existing production facility covering the area of approximately 17,000 sq m and tripling the production capacity of the factory. The factory will now be able to manufacture steam turbines up to 150MW and manufacture and package process compressors for the domestic market as well as other emerging markets.
