VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd (A Volvo Group and Eicher Motors joint venture) recorded sales of 5,977 units in May 2018 as compared to 4,573 units in May 2017, recording a growth of 30.7 per cent. This includes 5,874 units of Eicher brand and 103 units of Volvo brand.

Eicher branded trucks and buses have recorded sales of 5,874 units in May 2018 (YTD 9,813 units) as compared to 4,539 units in May 2017 (LYTD 7,616 units), representing a growth of 29.4 per cent. In the domestic CV market, Eicher branded trucks and buses have recorded sales of 5,268 units in May 2018 (YTD 8,657 units) as compared to 3,953 units in May 2017 (LYTD 6,531 units), representing a growth of 33.3 per cent.

On the exports front, Eicher branded trucks and buses have recorded a sales of 606 units in May 2018 (YTD 1,156 units) as compared to 5,86 units in May 2017 (LYTD 1,085 units), representing a growth of 3.4 per cent. Volvo Trucks has recorded sales of 103 units in May 2018 (YTD 123 units) as compared to 34 units in May 2017 (LYTD 46 units), representing a growth of over 202 per cent
