The largest luffing-jib tower crane from Linden Comansa, Model LCL700 is has just been erected in downtown Seattle (Washington), USA. Linden Comansa America (LCA) recently supplied a unit of this luffer and a flat top model 21LC550 20t to GLY Construction for the Rufus 2.0 Block 21 site.

Maxim expands fleet with 48 new Potain tower cranes
Maxim Crane Works (Maxim) has added 48 new Potain top-slewing tower cranes to its fleet. The Newport, Kentucky-based company will start taking deliveries of the new tower cranes beginning in May 2018.According to Frank Bardonaro, Chief Operating Officer for Maxim, the order reflects his continued confidence in Manitowoc Cranes and the Potain tower crane range.

Manitowoc Cranes has announced a new smartphone app that will help customers to diagnose technical issues on their cranes much faster. The free app will be available on iOS and Android devices, and will enable users to understand the numeric diagnostic codes that are generated by their on-board control systems.
