New successor to Grove GMK6300L
Manitowoc has announced that it will launch a follow-up to the popular Grove GMK6300L all-terrain crane, which launched in 2010 and became an immediate worldwide hit. The new 300 t (350 USt) capacity model is the GMK6300L-1, and it will continue its predecessor's legacy, bringing new levels of performance leadership to the six-axle category.
Maxim expands fleet with 48 new Potain tower cranes
Maxim Crane Works (Maxim) has added 48 new Potain top-slewing tower cranes to its fleet. The Newport, Kentucky-based company will start taking deliveries of the new tower cranes beginning in May 2018.According to Frank Bardonaro, Chief Operating Officer for Maxim, the order reflects his continued confidence in Manitowoc Cranes and the Potain tower crane range.
Manitowoc releases mobile app
Manitowoc Cranes has announced a new smartphone app that will help customers to diagnose technical issues on their cranes much faster. The free app will be available on iOS and Android devices, and will enable users to understand the numeric diagnostic codes that are generated by their on-board control systems.
Manitowoc opens new Crane Care training centre in S?o Paulo
Manitowoc has opened a new Crane Care training centre in the city of Santana de Parna?ba, which is located in the metropolitan area of S?o Paulo, a major South American transportation hub. The move will provide easier access to Manitowoc?s training programs for technicians across Latin America.
