First Liebherr LR 11000 crawler crane in Switzerland
Emil Egger AG, a transport and heavy haulage contractor based in Sankt Gallen, Switzerland, recently took delivery of a Liebherr crawler crane LR 11000 from the plant in Ehingen for its first job in Zurich. The 1,000 tonne crane will be in service around six months there for the assembly of large reinforced concrete supports.

Unlike training sessions offered in the past, where trainees had to travel to the US and attend classes in English, courses now give technicians who don?t speak English the chance to be trained in their native language and to avoid high travel expenses.
NCC buys Liebherr Telescopic Crawler Crane
Liebherr has delivered a new LTR 1220 telescopic crawler crane to NCC Ltd Hyderabad for its Nagpur metro project. In this project, the crane hoists girders for the two new metro lines which have a total length of 38 km, thereby the pick-and-carry characteristics of telescopic crawler crane are a great advantage. Liebherr is convinced that the use of such a crane, first time in India, will give a big opening to this technology.

Liebherr crawler cranes complete tandem hoist of Manchester bridge
As part of a major railway construction project in the North of England, the Scottish contractor Weldex used two Liebherr crawler cranes to complete a central construction phase. Recently both crawler cranes performed a tandem hoist for a 560-tonne arched bridge over the River Irwell in Manchester. The new railway bridge will link the city?s Piccadilly and Victoria stations.
Indonesian port operator to buy 8 Konecranes Gottwald Mobile Harbour Cranes
Konecranes has won its biggest order so far for Konecranes Gottwald mobile harbour cranes in the Asia-Pacific region. In the course of 2017 and at the beginning of 2018, the Java-based port operator PT Berlian Jasa Terminal Indonesia (PT BJTI) will add eight more cranes to its existing fleet of eight Konecranes Gottwald machines.
