Volvo celebrates production of 75,000th articulated hauler

Volvo has achieved the landmark of producing 75,000th articulated hauler. The 75,000th machine ? one of the new generation A45G full suspension models ? rolled off the production line in late June at the factory where the first machine ? the DDR631 or ?Gravel Charlie? ? was made, in Bra?s, Sweden. The 75,000th machine is staying relatively local, going to Norwegian customer Leonhard Nilsen & S?nner AS.

Konecranes Gottwald mobile harbour crane to handle palletised fruits

Portsmouth-based MMD Shipping Ltd (MMD) will further increase its handling rates with the help of a new Konecranes Gottwald Model 6 mobile harbour crane. The eco-efficient diesel-electric 125 t machine was put into operation at the end of May 2017. In the terminal, located on England?s south coast, the crane will predominantly handle reefer containers and palletised fruit.

MTU engines to be assembled in India
