The German rental company Gebr. Markewitsch has acquired three new Grove all-terrain cranes. The company already owns Grove cranes and has purchased six in the past three years, including the current order.

The first crane in the order was a four-axle GMK4100L, which arrived in May. It is the third GMK4100L in the company?s fleet. Arriving later this year is a five-axle GMK5130-2, bringing Markewitsch?s total of these cranes to three. The company has also placed an order for a new three-axle Grove to be delivered in early 2013.

Wolfgang Markewitsch, general manager of Gebr. Markewitsch, said the universal application possibilities of the cranes and their reliability, combined with the outstanding aftermarket support available through Manitowoc Crane Care were important factors in this latest order.
