Liebherr LR 1250 Crawler
Breakthrough technology
Carbon fiber reinforced plastic as an option CFRP pendants, CFRP pendant links and CFRP jib backstops. Key advantages are less weight, thus easing assembly and resulting in longer boom-jib configurations as well as higher lifting capacities, no wear and lifelong corrosion resistance.

The machine comes with:

  • Improved lifting capacities through reinforced main boom in combination with luffing jibs, and great number of boom/jib combinations.
  • Quickly mobilised through transportation of completely mounted crane.
  • Revised and optimised lifting capacities within the 250- tonne class.
  • Powerful 270 kW / 362 hp 6-cylinder diesel engine.
  • IIIB/Tier 4i the exhaust emission values significantly improved.
  • The crane is fitted with two crane winches each featuring 12 t line pull and offering high rope speeds for this line pull. As an option the LR 1250 can be equipped with 12 t free-fall winches.

The LR 1250 is equipped with the Litronic  control system of the latest generation, which is based on CANBUS technology. The load moment limitation automatically calculates the lifting capacities during operation and guarantees optimum use of the machine. The Litronic-? control concept is the only one on the market to manage without storage of load charts or interpolation of interim values. Compared to the previous model, the control display was more clearly arranged which facilitates orientation for the operator.

As an option, the LR 1250 can be equipped with LiDAT, Liebherr?s own data transmission and positioning system.
