SANY Brazil Plant Rolls Out First Excavators and Vehicles
SANY Group has rolled out the first excavators and commercial vehicles assembled at its manufacturing facility in Campinas, São Paulo State, Brazil. The development strengthens the company’s manufacturing presence in Brazil and supports its expansion across Latin America.

The 350,000 sq m first-phase facility houses two assembly lines for excavators and commercial vehicles, with a combined annual production capacity of 3,500 units. The excavator line can produce 1,500 units annually, while the commercial vehicle line has a planned capacity of 2,000 units.

Local production is expected to reduce cross-border logistics and import tariff costs, shorten delivery timelines and improve customer support. The Campinas facility integrates manufacturing, sales and services, strengthening SANY’s regional supply chain and competitiveness.

SANY has also expanded its local operations, dealer network and financial services in Brazil. Around 80 per cent of SANY Brazil’s workforce is locally employed, while the plant has created approximately 200 direct jobs. The company expects the facility to generate thousands of additional employment opportunities as operations expand.

SANY Banco, approved by the Central Bank of Brazil in 2025, began operations in early 2026. It provides customers with integrated equipment, servicing and financing solutions tailored to the Brazilian market.

Cao Te, Chairman of SANY Latin America, and Chen Wei, General Manager of the project, said the first-phase production lines have achieved initial production capability. Planning for the second phase has also begun, with additional product categories expected to be introduced.

SANY plans to develop the Campinas plant as a regional manufacturing hub, supporting localised production and supplying equipment to customers across Latin America.
