Takeuchi Launches its First Short Tail
With the new TB350R, Takeuchi has introduced its first 5-ton short tail swing excavator.

Rear swing overhang on the TB350R is 2.95 inches, making it ideal for confined task sites or up against structures and other obstacles. The small excavator weighs 11,235 pounds when equipped with a cab, compared to 10,980 pounds when specified with a canopy.

According to Takeuchi, the Kubota V2607-CR-41 E5B's horsepower Tier 4 Final diesel engine produces more than 130 foot pounds of torque, and the hydraulic system's four pumps enable precise control.

The TB350R can dig as deep as 11 feet 9 inches and has a bucket breakout force of 10,431 pounds, traction force of 12,320 pounds, and.

In both the canopy and cab variants, the mid-arm is plumbed with a primary auxiliary circuit. A dedicated coupler circuit controlled by controls inside the cab is also included in the cab model. The primary auxiliary circuit powers a variety of hydraulically powered attachments with a flow rate of 26.4 gallons per minute at 2,990 pressures.

According to Takeuchi, the TB350R's cabin has undergone a thorough overhaul, enhancing the operator experience. A 7-inch touchscreen, multifunction colour display with integrated air conditioner and radio functions is available on the cab model, while the canopy configuration comes with a 4.3-inch-high definition, multifunction colour monitor. On the cab model, a jog dial makes it simpler to navigate the monitor and operate other machine operations.

A big flat floor area, integrated footrests, a six-way adjustable suspension seat, adjustable armrests, low-effort pilot controls, one-touch control switches for machine functions, and a large flat floor surface are additional standard features.
