The Specialist Tyre Supplier
Trident International specialises in the design, development and supply of industrial tyres for construction, quarrying, underground mining, port and material handling equipment.

Construction, quarrying, underground mining, port and material handling equipment machines are normally fitted with pneumatic tyres, and due to the conditions, in which they operate, are prone to frequent punctures, tyre damage, and fast tyre wear. This results in losses associated with frequent repair and replacement, downtime, and leads to additional costs associated with excess inventory of spares.

Solid tyres are one hundred per cent puncture-proof. These are made from highly wear-resistant rubber compounds and ideally suited short haul, high load, low speed machines working in yards and confined areas with harsh underfoot conditions. The tyres have an extra deep tread with a greater wear volume that gives them a lifespan three to five times that of conventional pneumatic tyres. These tyres also significantly improve occupational safety as there is no possibility of tyre blowout-related accidents.

The combined effect of these factors results in significantly improved machine utilisation in severe applications such as construction, steel mills, smelters and furnaces, industrial plants, scrap and recycling yards, quarrying, underground mining, waste management, that are very demanding on tyres.

Solid tyres options are available for:

Industrial and construction equipment

The tyres have an abrasion resistant tread specifically compounded for use on construction equipment for a wide range of working conditions. The tread depth of these solid tyres is 65-110 mm which is significantly higher than 20-40 mm typically found on equivalent pneumatic tyres.

The range of solid tyres is available in multiple pattern options for:

? Backhoe loaders (JCB 3DX, L&T Case 770).
? Skid steer loaders (Bobcat S130, S250, Terex Heman 175, JCB Robot 170, Gehl).
? Wheel loaders (HM 2021, CAT 924 to 966H).
? Slag pot carriers.

Aerial work platforms

Making the tyres on AWPs puncture-proof is a safety imperative. This can be achieved by two ways, using foam-filling pneumatic tyres or solid tyres.

While foam-filled tyres are puncture proof, their life span is similar to pneumatic tyres. Solid tyres are puncture proof, have a service life 3-5 times that of foam filled pneumatic tyres and more stable. The solid tyres are available for:

? Manlifts.
? Articulated boom lifts (JLG ? 600 AJ/ 450AJ/ 460 SJ/ 120 HX, etc).
? Scissor lifts (Genie S 65, JLG, Haulotte, Nitylift, Upright LX 50 etc).

Mining and quarrying machines

Mining being a continuous, integrated cycle of different operational processes, the impact of tyre-related downtime leaving any equipment in the chain idle is reduced operational efficiency, higher costs and revenue loss. Special cut resistant solid tyres have been developed for:

? Side discharge loaders, load haul dumpers.
? LPDTs, bolters, jumbo drills.
? Tippers.

Solid tyres provide customers with a reliable option that reduces cost per hour of operations and downtime while improving safety. Users benefit from a longer usage-cycle, reduced wastage, and a smoother frequency of operations.

Besides providing the user complete peace of mind, these zero maintenance tyres are a sound investment for the most demanding applications.
