Atlas Copco Unveils Innovation Centre
Atlas Copco Tools and Assembly Systems has inaugurated its first Smart Factory Innovation Centre in India, located in Pune. This facility aims to drive Industry 4.0 adoption by offering cutting-edge smart manufacturing and automation solutions across industries such as automotive, aerospace, electronics, heavy machinery, and general manufacturing.
The Innovation Centre provides live demonstrations of automated tightening and dispensing technologies, error-proofing solutions, and software-driven manufacturing optimisations. The centre also highlights Smart Integrated Assembly solutions, aligning with sustainability goals to reduce carbon footprint and enhance operational efficiency.
According to Chandrashekhar Pathak, General Manager, Industrial Technique, Atlas Copco India Pvt. Ltd., this centre is more than a showcase—it's a platform for businesses to collaborate, explore new technologies, and drive efficiency through innovation.
