After the success of inaugural bauma Asfrica, Elaine Crewe, CEO, Messe Mnnchen International (MMI) South Africa, confirmed plans for a second show in 2015. When MMI first announced plans to introduce a new exhibition, it was hoped that around 200 exhibitors would take part using 20,000 sq m of exhibition space. But the show expanded to fill more than 60,000 sq m of exhibition space at the Gallagher Convention Centre, Johannesburg.
