3 CIL coal washeries under construction
According to reports, only three Coal India washeries out of 15 to be operationalised by 2017, are at the construction stage. Meanwhile letters of assurance have been issued with regard to five others having a capacity of 34.5 MTPA. The three under-construction washieries will have a capacity of 11.6 MTPA.
