MAINTENANCE TIPS

Before starting the engine, check engine coolant level
Check and drain water sedimentation in water separator
Check proper tightness of battery connectors and its mounting
Visually check for proper track tension, if required adjust as per specification
Lubricate all front linkages every 10 hour
Check for any leakages
Before starting the engine, check for any warnings in the Caterpillar monitor system
Perform periodic maintenance as per the recommendation of the OEM and use genuine filters and oils
Maintain correct clearance of bucket linkages, adjust if necessary
Clean the cab air filter regularly to increase the performance

OPERATING TIPS

Before starting the job, clean the job area and position the machine on level ground
Operate the machine by positioning Idler on the digging side of the excavator
Digging operation to be done from the front side of the excavator
Position the loading equipment on operator cabin side for better visibility while loading
Ensure that correct dial speed is selected according to the operation
Reduce jump steering
Do not operate machine when third level warning is indicated by CMS
Do not operate the machine without tooth point
Replace the tooth point as per application with genuine one
