Sivasubramanian Natarajan is the Managing Director of ThyssenKrupp Indistries India, a company that in the last five decades, has grown to become one of the most trusted names in sugar plants and machinery, open cast mining and bulk material handling systems, cement plants and machinery and industrial boilers and power plants. Siva began began his career with Larsen & Toubro ECC Construction Group in 1981 as a project engineer. Here, he was responsible for automating the design and engineering for Railway electrification projects and worked on the commissioning of a cement plant and a fertiliser project.

He later joined Siemens Chennai in 1986 as a project engineering responsible for cement projects. From 1990-91, he was delegated to Siemens Germany for technology transfer for cement automation to Siemens India. With a mandate to establish a new department for services in 1993, Siva held the position of Chief Manager Industrial Projects for Siemens Delhi between1995 to 1998. Between 1998 to 2005, he managed the Metals, Mining and Paper businesses for Siemens India. Siva?s next assignment was as CEO, Industrial Solutions and Services Division of Siemens India after which he went on to become the Head of Water Technologies for South-East Asia and India. Exiting Siemens in August 2011, Siva is presently responsible for Operations for ThyssenKrupp Industries India as Managing Director and is based in Pune.

With strong specialisations in Managing Solutions Business, strong project management skills, M&A, strategic planning and vision building, Siva?s equally strong experience in Metals, Mining, OG, Cement, Infrastructure and Water Industries has helped him take ThyssenKrupp Industries India to the next level with a clear customer-centric blueprint for the future.

Siva has done his Engineering with Electrical & Electronics degree and MBA from Madras University. While business travel takes up a large chunk of his time, Siva is a family man with a son and a daughter and has a keen interest in playing golf and reading.
