ABB Accelerator Drives Industrial AI Innovation
ABB Innovation Center Bengaluru hosted the sixth edition of ABB Accelerator, bringing together more than 1,000 innovators from 37 countries to accelerate industrial AI-led solutions.

The five-day programme brought together technocrats from ABB and its partners, over 25 industry and academic thought leaders, 80 startups and more than 350 universities. The initiative focused on combining frontier technologies with domain and application knowledge to address real-world industrial challenges.

ABB Innovation Center is one of ABB’s largest global technology and engineering hubs, with nearly 4,000 technologists working across research and development, engineering, digital technologies and global operations. The centre develops next-generation industrial technologies and supports customers in moving towards more autonomous operations.

ABB Accelerator has become one of the company’s flagship innovation platforms. Over the past two years, it has engaged more than 2,000 participants and generated nearly 700 approved use cases across AI, automation, cloud and digital technologies.

The programme also received global recognition in 2025, winning three international awards, including a Gold Stevie Award in the Event Award – Hackathon category, a Bronze Stevie Award for Achievement in Global Collaboration and the International Innovation Award in the Service & Solution category.

The initiative reflects ABB’s focus on collaboration, industrial AI and scalable innovation to help industries become safer, more productive and more sustainable.
