APM Terminals Pipavav posts net profit of Rs 594 million for Q2FY17
APM Terminals Pipavav (Gujarat Pipavav Port Ltd), announced the standalone financial results for the second quarter ended September 30, 2016 (Q2FY17). The company reported a net profit of Rs 594 million for Q2FY17 as against Rs 875 million in Q2FY16. Total income for the quarter under consideration stood at Rs 1,722 million as against Rs 1,490 million in Q2FY16. EBIDTA for the quarter was at Rs 986 million and EBIDTA margin stood at 57 per cent. 

The container cargo business for the quarter stood at appximately 166,000 TEUs, bulk business was at 705,000 MT and liquid business was at appximately 78,000 MT. RoRo business was 22,000 units (approx) for the quarter under review.

Commenting on the results, Keld Pedersen, Managing Director, APM Terminals Pipavav (Gujarat Pipavav Port Ltd), said, ?The quarter showed healthy revenue growth year-on-year while the quarter-on-quarter revenue growth was at 3 per cent.
