Achieving new heights
A Mechanical Engineer with an overall experience of about 14 years in construction equipment industry, Rajeev Kumar has been involved with many challenging jobs. According to him, the most challenging project handled till date is the Sasan Power plant, where his team handled Zoomlion cranes including 24 crawler cranes of 260 tonne and 80 tonne, six units of 25 tonne capacity tower crane, and three gantry cranes, day and night, without any breakdown.
Associated with the industry since 2001, Kumar, in past 14 years, has worked with most of the construction equipment segments: Hydra, slew cranes, forklifts, backhoe loaders, lorry loaders, truck cranes, tower cranes, crawler cranes, gantry cranes, drum cutters, plaster spray machines, lifting platforms etc. In 2012, Kumar started his own business as a small rental company.
Kumar says, ?We know that the market is booming up now and we have tremendous scope to expand. We expect that within three years, we will achieve much more than what we have planned.?
