Ammann Apollo to Exhibit Key Products and Services
Innovative Ammann and Apollo plants, machines and services will be on display at Bauma Conexpo India.
Ammann Apollo will present a deep and wide range of products, including light compaction equipment, heavy rollers, pavers, and asphalt plants. After-sales support efforts that will be exhibited include retrofits, service and parts through the network serving India. The booth also will feature the ?brains? of plants, the industry-leading as1 control system, as well as key core components including the Amix mixer and burner.

?We are always eager to meet our customers and show them the progress we have made across our product lineup,? said Sunil Sapru, Regional Director at Ammann. ?We are eager to hear about the challenges they face and together find solutions through our products and services.?

Two new counterflow asphalt-mixing plants will be unveiled at the show. The Apollo CounterMix 90 and CounterMix 120 combine the simplicity of continuous drum-mix plants with the fuel efficiency achieved through counterflow technology. The plants provide reduced operating costs, lower emissions and an ability to utilise RAP. The plants have capacities of 90 tonne per hour and 120 tonne per hour.

Ammann?s light compaction equipment will also be showcased. The machines offer a multitude of features, such as intuitive operation and vibration-limiting handles that make the compactors productive, safe and comfortable.

Several models new to the Indian market will be present, including the ACR 68 Rammer; the APR 2220 reversible vibratory plate compactor; and APF 1250 and APF 1850 forward-moving vibratory plate compactors. The ARW 65 walk-behind roller will be shown in the demonstration area.

Apollo pavers will be another range that will be featured at the show. Apollo is the paver market leader in India in part due to its strong product support efforts. The machines also are easy to operate and meet all government regulations. Apollo paving products include hydrostatic pavers, mechanical pavers, curb pavers, brooms and bitumen sprayers.

The AP 600 hydrostatic paver with TV 4900 screed features high-traction wheel drive, accurate grade and slope control and long component life. The screed is extendible from 2.55 m to 4.9 m - and up to 6.5 m with mechanical extensions.

The AP 800 hydrostatic paver that is being introduced during the show features a high traction track system and is equipped with the Apollo TV 4900 screed, capable of 7 m widths and with environmentally friendly LPG heating system.

Also shown for the first time at the show is the new MOBA dashboard for the main operator and the screed operator platforms. The dashboards enable simple machine operation. Shown first on the AP 800, the control panels will also be implemented on AP 600 and AP 1000 pavers in the next few months.

The KLM 1200 slip form type curb paver will be available for review. The hydrostatic-driven machine offers quick-change mould design, automatic electronic controls, easy manoeuvrability and variable vibrators that adapt to different concrete slump levels. Heavy compaction equipment from Ammann also will be present. The ARS 121 and ARS 122 soil compactors bring a wide range of innovation, such as intuitive control, visibility, operator comfort and compaction performance. The AP 240 pneumatic tyred roller has the air-on-the-run system for pressure adjustment and a proven hydrodynamic propulsion system as standard features.

The ARX 91 sets a new technology standard. The new roller features exceptional compaction performance and quality when working on a variety of materials. It is combining with Apollo pavers to develop the Indian highway infrastructure. Other machines, plants and services that will be present at the Ammann stand include: ABA UniBatch asphalt mixing plant: Versatility makes UniBatch one of the most popular Ammann plants. The plant is among the lower-cost alternatives and is easy to operate and maintain. It also is known for its reliability. The high-recycling RAH 50 dryer will be on display with the plant. Visitors to the booth will be able to walk through the dryer and see Ammann technology up close.

The Ammann as1 Control System: The ?brains? of the plant will be demonstrated inside an on-site cabin. The proprietary system can monitor energy consumption, material usage, material flow and other factors that significantly impact productivity and profitability.

Amdurit?: Ammann?s proprietary wear-protection system provides three times the service life of wear-resistant steel and protects valuable parts and components. The components last longer, which translates to fewer replacements and reduced labour and therefore lower costs. Overall plant uptime is improved as well.

Service: Apollo has significantly strengthened its product support coverage in India and those strides will be showcased. Service products - including preventive and other maintenance packages - and burner services and calibration will be explained as well.
