VG Sakthikumar has been associated with Schwing Stetter since its inception in India in 1998, and has played a part in its growth story. He has over two decades of industry experience in the ready-mix concrete business.  
He started his prolific career with Greaves Cotton, heading the sales operation for the Southern region. Going forward, he joined Hoesch Rothe Erde (Thyssen Group, Germany). Having consolidated Schwing Stetter?s position in India, he now also handles the SAARC and ASEAN nations from India. Sakthikumar took charge as Chief Operating Officer in 2006, and since then he has made significant contributions to building the brand.
In 2012, Sakthikumar had been appointed as Co-chairperson, Mechanisation Committee for the year 2012-13 by Builders? Association of India (BAI), an All India Association of Engineering Construction Contractors.
Sakthikumar holds a Bachelor?s Degree in Chemical Engineering and an MBA from the School of Management, Pondicherry University.
