At the 11th governing body meeting of the Infrastructure Equipment Skill Council (IESC) held recently, Anand Sundaresan, Vice-Chairman and Managing Director, Schwing-Stetter India, was elected as the Chairman of the council, while Arvind Garg, Executive Vice-President and Head, Construction and Mining Machinery Business, Larsen & Toubro, was appointed as the Vice-Chairman. Funded by National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), IESC is promoted by Indian Construction Equipment Manufacturers? Association (ICEMA), supported by Confederation of Indian Industry. As the Chairman of the council, Sundaresan will hold the post for a period of two years.
