BKT Tyres is setting up its fourth plant as a Greenfield facility, wh?i?ch is coming up in Bhuj, Gujarat. According to the company, the construction has already been started, which is in full swing. ?Major equipment order has been placed. We have been con?templating to start the pr?o?ject in September 2012 but looking at the demand situation, we are trying prepone by two months,? said Arvind Poddar, Chairman and Managing Director, BKT Tyres. He said that there is service back up and cost advantage because it is being pro?duced in India and there is continuity in service and a wide range to choose.
