CASE to unveil seven models
Case Construction Equip?ment (CASE) will unveil a further seven models in its Tier 4 Interim-powered C Series crawler excavator range at Intermat 2012. The low emi?ssion engines and tech?nically advanced Case Intelli?gent Hydr?aulic System in these machines lead to a 10 per cent fuel effic?iency improvement over B Series models. The CX130C, CX160C, CX180C, CX210C, CX210C Long Reach, CX470C and CX470C ME excavators deliver improved digging per?formance with lower emissions and re?du?ced consumption. Five new ene?rgy saving systems contri?bute to a substantial cut in ope?ra?ting co?sts for customers, with revised boom design leading to an in?crease in produ?ctivity and dura?bility.

The Tier-4 Interim compl?iant engines in the seven machi?nes use cooled exhaust gas recir?culation (CEGR) to provide a cleaner burn. Custo?mers with B Series models will have already seen up to a 20 per cent fuel improvement over ol?der models and some compe?titors.

With the C Series exca?vators, they can expect up to a further 10 per cent efficiency improvement. The new C Series models boast up to 5 per cent faster cycle times than their B Series predecessors, though with smoother and easier controls. Lift capacity is increased by around 6 per cent, depending on model. A full range of buckets and attach?ments is available for the C Series models. The revised line of excavation buckets are all available with the Case SmartFit bucket tooth system.
