CBF Technical Summit
The technical summit brought together loads of customers and gave a platform to get candid about its product line and enhance their knowledge on brake technology, international standards, product selection and maintenance.

CBF India recently conducted two technical summits/technical confe?rences; one in Bengaluru (29 November) and the other in Pune (1 October) bringing together various customers from major OEMs and providing a platform to showcase its product line and enhance knowledge on brake technology, international standards, product selection and maintenance. Customers from major OEMs like BEML, Komatsu, CAT, Telcon, Carraro, Sany, Tata, Mahindra, JohnDeere, ZF, Dana, Volvo, CNH, etc participated in the technical summit.

The programme was kick started with a welcome address from Trent Freiberg followed by a brief overview on off highway market dynamics globally as well as trends in India, which was delivered by Samir Bansal, General Manager, Off Highway Research India. This was followed by technical presentations by Dave Anderson, Richard Dowell and Keith Williams covering various topics including our product range, history, design consideration of dry caliper/drum brake, power valve, full brake system, wet brakes, slave cylinder, ma?ster cylinder, boosters, ball ramp brake, etc.

CBL presented its product and technology leadership by way of presentations, product displays and direct interaction. "This forum gave a chance for our customers to get candid with their views about our product line and enhances their knowledge on brake technology, international standards, product sele?ction and maintenance," said T Natarajan, Country Director, CBL India. "The day long forum provided us opportunity to spend ample time with the customers and discuss in person about new projects and generate RFQs," he added.

Case studies on full brake systems of mining dump truck, construction equipment and agriculture equipment were also presented to customers to further reiterate on CBL's technical expertise. A couple of Q&A sessions were held in between the technical sessions to provide opportunity for the customers to raise and clarify their queries. The summit proved immensely beneficial to customers who gained knowledge on our product line and latest innovations. The efforts to impart and share such knowledge were lauded by all the participants.
