The global construction equipment (CE) industry is expected to lose production of 43,000 machines this year after factory closures and national lockdowns around the world, according to Off-Highway Research. This is equivalent to 4 per cent of last year's total output of 1.07 million machines. At present, major impacts of closures are being felt in Europe's largest equipment producing countries.
