Tractors India Private (TIPL) plans to open a substantial number of retail outlets and after sales service centres at various locations in Rajasthan, including Jaipur and Udaipur to widen its reach and services to customers through the availability of high quality parts and technical support.

TIPL is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tractors India (TIL) and is responsible for the entire Caterpillar business of construction, mining and power systems solutions.

With the economy showing signs of improvement and demand for equipment in the infrastructure sector, Caterpillar and its Indian dealer network is aggressively expanding its footprint in Rajasthan in a bid to further bolster its sales and service network through TIPL, Caterpillar?s authorised dealer.

This follows a recently launched after-sales facility earlier this month. This facility boasts of state-of-the-art workshop capabilities, and offers a component rebuild for engines meeting stringent quality controls as stipulated by Caterpillar. It also has an expanded service parts warehouse to meet the increasing customer demand.

The expansion in after-sales network is expected to generate greater employment opportunities in Rajasthan. TIPL is looking at doubling the size of its sales team and recruiting technicians to support customers through new outlets. It already has an impressive team of highly skilled service engineers and has further plans to recruit up to 30 people in Rajasthan.
