The Union Government will award projects worth Rs 14,225 crore by March end to augment the capacity of major ports by 162 million tonne. The Shipping Ministry in a statement said that during 2015-16, a total of 30 projects are to be awarded which will involve an investment of Rs 14,225 crore and capacity enhancement by 162 MTPA.
