The Central Government came out with a notification for the long pending proposal of constructing a coastal road in Mumbai, aimed at reducing the traffic woes of the city. According to a statement from the Maharashtra Government, the Centre has issued the final notification for constructing a 34 km coastal road from Nariman Point to Kandivli.
