The Singareni Collieries Company Ltd (SCCL) has registered 13 per cent growth in coal production during September. The company recorded coal production of 45.44 lakh tonne during the month as against 40.24 lakh tonne during the corresponding period previous fiscal. The company achieved 14.5 per cent growth in coal transport from 41.05 lakh tonne during September last year to 46.99 lakh tonne during the same month this year. The SCCL achieved impressive growth in coal transport during the first half of the current fiscal. The company transported 299.46 lakh tonne during the first half of the current fiscal, registering 12.7 per cent growth over 265.77 lakh tonne of the same period of the previous fiscal. SCCL had recorded production of 100 per cent or more in five areas ? Manuguru, Ramagundam-1, Ramagundam-2, Bhupalpally and Bellampally.
