The Disa Match 20/24 and MB 500 metal belt tumblast machine now in India.
Disa India, a world-leading foundry machinery manufacturer, and Wheelabrator, the world?s Number One surface preparation technology manufacturer, announced the launch of two high-end and completely localised mac?hines, Disa Match 20/24, horizontal flaskless moulding machine and MB 500 metal belt tumblast machine at IFEX 2012.
Following the theme `The Complete Foundry,` Disa also displayed the Saturn heavy- duty blast wheel, the SAM-3 mixer and the Disa filter along with the state-of-the-art technology which is being showcased in India for the first time in Disa?s exhibition area. Based on 45 years of experience, and 1,500+ delivered moulding lines, Disa launched the horizontal flaskless match plate moulding machine the Disa Match 20/24 and announced that with this, all types of high pressure moulding technology ? horizontal flask lines, vertical flaskless and horizontal fla?s?k?less machines would be now produced at Disa India.
The Disa Match 20/24 is designed and manufactured to deliver a high capacity of 160 uncored mould/hour; it is more precise with maximum machine- related mismatch guarantee of 0.15 mm, the automatic core setter (CSE) ensures repeatable and automatic core setting, and the quick match plate changer (QMC) enables easy and fast pattern change, high uptime, local availability of parts and service and lower capital investment cost as the product is available for sale in India.
The MB 500 is new range of metal belt tumblast machines and will complement the existing BB rubber belt tumblast machines, giving the fullest range of products in the marketplace from (something small) to 2.5 cu m machines which run today in the US.
The MB500 is the perfect foundry machine for running alongside a Disa Match moulding line. It provides the correct volume solution for processing parts from the Match. Added to this, the loading and unloading techniques used in the MB range are superior to those offered by competitors as it facilitates full mechanisation of the handling and almost manless operation.

This machine is from the Wheelabrator operations in Metelen, Germany, and has been specifically selected to suit Indian market requirements?, added Naidu. Apart from the launch machines, the company also displayed the sand plant equipment/machines, dust extraction system and a completely new and localised wheel made specially to improve the shot blast machine?s performance.
