Gurman Reen has been in the construction equipment industry for eight years working across multiple domains. He has done his BE in Production from PEC, Chandigarh followed by MBA in Marketing & Finance from Symbiosis, Pune. He is the recipient of multiple certifications including 6 Sigma Green Belt, Certified in CPS (Caterpillar Production System), and Certified Machine Sales Professional. He has participated in various projects and training and has gained exposure to various markets such as the US, China and South-east Asia, in addition to current responsibility for India, Nepal, Bhutan and Sri Lanka.

He has worked across the value stream of construction equipment and developed a deep expertise on processes and systems across the supply chain from factory to customer site. In the current capacity of Sales Manager, India Region for Global Construction & Infrastructure Division, his scope of work has included sales execution, planning and forecasting, inventory management, new product introduction, sales funnel management, product and pricing strategies, key account management, marketing and lead generation activities, customer loyalty and dealer sales, and service development.

Gurman has been an integral team member for some of the challenging projects of Caterpillar. He was the key member of the team responsible for conceptualising, planning, strategy and execution of local manufacturing for the 20T hydraulic excavator. He was also a key member of teams responsible for new product introduction projects such as the 120K2 motor grader, D6R dozer, 988H wheel loader, 770G dumper, etc.

He has been a top performer with a consistently recognised talent for bringing creative solutions to real-time issues.
