Danfoss appoints Shree Gurumurthy as SVP of Global Operations
Danfoss Power Solutions has announced the appointment of Sriram (Shree) Gurumurthy as Senior Vice President of Global Operations, effective immediately.
Previously serving as Vice President of Global Manufacturing Strategy, Gurumurthy will continue to report to Eric Alström, President of Danfoss Power Solutions, and will join the leadership team based in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.
In his new role, Gurumurthy will spearhead the newly established Global Operations function, focusing on enhancing efficiency and achieving top-tier operational performance and profitable growth across the company. His responsibilities will encompass several critical areas, including safety, environmental health and quality, supply chain management, manufacturing footprint strategy, Danfoss Business Systems, indirect procurement, manufacturing systems and services, distribution centers, and communications.

Gurumurthy has played a pivotal role in optimizing Danfoss Power Solutions’ manufacturing footprint since joining the company during the Eaton Hydraulics acquisition in 2021. He previously led global operations for the Rubber Hydraulic Hose and Fittings unit within the Fluid Conveyance division.
With over 25 years of experience in the manufacturing sector, particularly in automotive and hydraulics, Gurumurthy began his career at Eaton Corporation in 2007, where he held various leadership positions in plant management and global manufacturing strategy.
