Cognex offers Dataman 8050 and 8050X hand-held barcode readers, which are designed with a rugged polycarbonate housing to handle harsh factory floor conditions. Featuring Cognex 1DMax+ with Hotbars barcode reading algorithms, the barcode readers, measuring 210 mm x 115 mm x 85 mm, have a 752 x 480 global shutter sensor and integrated LEDs with near-far optics. The barcode readers also feature DataMan Setup Tool software, which enables imaging viewing, Java scripting, and data formatting options. Available with both corded and wireless communication modules, the DataMan 8050 Series supports industry-standard communications including USB, USB keyboard, RS-232 and Bluetooth wireless communication to a base station.
