Henkel Adhesive Technologies India, a subsidiary of Henkel AG & Co, Germany has appointed Ashish Pradhan as Business Director for Industrial Adhesives Division. Pradhan will be responsible to drive the business processes and improve the profitability of the Industrial Adhesives Division that caters to Food, Flexible Packaging, Shoe, Construction, Printing and Diaper industry amongst others. A Mechanical Engineer and a Management graduate from Mumbai University, Pradhan has more than 20 years of experience in the flexible packaging industry and has been associated with Henkel for almost two years before he was elevated to his new role. Pradhan has been instrumental in driving process control and promoting the product development centre in India. Under his leadership, the business unit has adopted a more enhanced customer-centric approach.

Prior to joining the Henkel group, he has worked with some of the leading companies in the sector like Huhtamaki PPL and Positive Packaging Industries including a stint in Sydney, Australia as plant manager for Huhtamaki and as COO, Positive Packaging Industries.
