Manitou will install Deutz engines in all its 6-7 m telehandlers for agricultural use. Starting January 2014, Manitou will equip its 6-7 m series, which features a multifunctional grab bucket, with the Deutz 3.6 engine, which has been developed specifically for use in agricultural equipment. The water-cooled, four-cylinder series engine, with a capacity range of 55.4 to 90 kW at 2,300 rpm, will reduce installation costs for customers, according to Manitou. TCD 3.6 series engines are equipped with the EGR modular exhaust gas after-treatment system that can be attached to the engine as an option, which simplifies the integration of the device.
