Dynapac rollers at Petronas project
Earthworks specialist contractor ML Sepakat is using seven Dynapac CA250D single-drum vibratory compactors to prepare the land for Petronas?s Rapid refinery and petrochemical complex. A fleet of seven Dynapac CA250D vibratory compactors are being deployed on the initial earthworks for the Rapid integrated refinery and petrochemical project being developed by Petronas in southern Johor, Malaysia.

The project will be the largest such project owned by Petronas and has an estimated price tag of $20 billion.

The seven Dynapac compactors are owned by specialist earthworks contractor ML Sepakat Sdn Bhd, who has a contract for levelling and compacting parcels of land during the first phase of the project. Rapid will cover 2,000 hectares of land and transform southern Johor into a refining and petrochemical centre, complementing existing Petronas complexes in Malaysia?s eastern corridors and Singapore.
