EX Series Backhoe Loader
All three CASE models feature a proven proprietary engine developed by powertrain specialist FPT Industrial, the S8000, which stands out for its fuel efficiency and performance. The 3.9 litre, 4-cylinder engine features an air after cooler system that increases the density of the intake air, improving efficiency and decreasing fuel consumption. The powerful performance and fast response time coupled with fuel savings of up to 13 per cent make it the most fuel efficient engine in the market.
The robust robotically welded two-piece structural frame design results in great stability, performance and serviceability. Large box-section structures in high-stress areas such as the boom nose, foot and cylinder enhance the machine?s durability. The new heavy-duty front axle with double effect steering cylinder ensues all wheels remain in contact with the ground even on the roughest terrain, ensuring exceptional stability and reliability. The S-styled backhoe boom delivers excellent breakout forces. It has a superior working range and reaches deeper than any other backhoe loader. Case also provides choice of two configurations: a standard dipper to reach 4.2 m and an extendable dipper to reach 6 m. The powershuttle transmission provides four forward and reverse speeds. The hydraulically shifted clutches allow the operator to change direction and travel speed on the go, while the control valves deliver smooth speed and direction shifts, resulting in smooth and accurate operation.
The EX Series features the largest cab in the industry and sets a new benchmark in comfort. The wide windows and narrow pillars provide excellent all round visibility, with an unobstructed view to the attachments and to the bucket edge. The mechanical suspended seat with a cushioned high back is fully adjustable to provide the optimal driving position. The ergonomic layout of the controls further adds to the operator?s comfort and ease of operation. The new tilting engine hood provides excellent access for maintenance. The machine layout has been designed to ensure all daily service points are easily accessible at ground level, for quick and efficient servicing. The EX Series backhoe loaders carry out all applications such as digging, loading, trenching, and work with hydraulic tools with exceptional fuel efficiency and productivity.
Backhoe
The shape of the backhoe enhances the loading ability of the machine and its capacity to overcome obstacles, while ensuring a high breakout force.
The boom and dipper are built to guarantee durability and ultrasound inspection ensures the highest welding quality and reliability.
The new standard lifting hook will allow to handle suspended objects easily and safely.
Loader
CASE engineers used an innovative systems integration approach to design and improve loader arm design to meet customer needs in loading applications. The straight loader arm design with optimized line routings provides excellent visibility, enabling operators to work with maximum comfort.
Large box-section structures with thick, multi-plate fabrications, castings, and forgings are used in high-stress areas such as the boom nose, boom foot, boom cylinder, and stick foot to improve durability.
Axles
The axles are designed to handle extreme applications resulting in reliable performance and extended life. The new 2-cylinder steering front axle is mounted above the center pivot and can oscillate to ?13 degree, so that all four wheels stay on the ground ensuring great stability even on the roughest terrains.
The robotically welded two-piece structural frame design provides a rugged and reliable foundation for the machine that improves stability, performance, and serviceability.
Visibility
The 6 post cab with plenty of floor to ceiling windows provides excellent visibility to improve both operator performance and jobsite safety.
Controls
The ergonomic layout of operator controls enhances operator comfort and productivity. Easy access to the cab with ergonomically placed grab rails, walk-up steps and large Platform.
Transmission
The power shuttle transmission provides four speeds forward and reverse. Hydraulically shifted clutches allow on-the-go direction and travel speed shifts. Control valves deliver smooth speed and directional shifts.
