Ecomix II: The Next Generation
ZF presents the new generation of the Ecomix range type CML 10 (concrete mixer low speed) for concrete mixers up to 10 m? drum capacity and an output torque up to 62,000 Nm.

Mixer transmissions Ecomix II are based on the achievements of the first Ecomix generation; however, they are smaller, lighter, tougher, and more flexible, and more noise reduced and easier to service.

The Ecomix II transmission CML 10, in comparison to previous models, is up to 24 per cent lighter and 50 per cent shorter. However, the special design of the new mixer transmission range Ecomix II also offers a wide range of further advantages. Thanks to a tough bearing concept, it was possible to significantly increase the output bearing strength, which leads to less sensibility at off/road operation. The use of patented Elastomer units from ZF Boge Elastmetall allows an increase of the axial run-out at drum bottom and an increase of misalignment of the drum. With the new bearing concept, the insta?llation angle is no longer depe?ndent on drum size and drum filling. An installation angle of up to 20? is always possible. Acoustic and me?chanic decou?pling of drum and vehicle fra?me leads to considerable noise reduction during ope?ration and improved driving comfort.

Serviceability has been improved thanks to an adapted, weight-optimised low-speed radial/piston motor and separate oil for transmission and hydro?static as well as an improved accessibility. Instead of the pre?vious sealing collar, a cassette seal is used, as a result of which the transmission is tougher and lifetime is increased. The compact light design offers the vehicle manufacturer more freedom in design and facilitates the assembly.
