The ElectroMech Knowledge Forum aims to build on the solutions offering available from ElectroMech through an exchange of ideas with customers.

ElectroMech, one of the largest industrial overhead cranes manufacturer in India recently held the Mumbai edition of its 'Knowledge Forums' as a platform to interact with its customers and encourage an exchange of ideas. The aim of the 'ElectroMech Knowledge Forum' is to bring to the forefront how ElectroMech solutions can add value to customers' projects by bringing the stakeholders on a common platform and communicating insights from both.

The Knowledge Forum, addressed by ElectroMech's senior management, was a hit with the audience which included the company's key clients, partners, consultants and engineering media. The ElectroMech Knowledge Series also saw enthusiastic participation from the company's clients. Gurudatt Pandit, Deputy General Manager - Procurement, Hindustan Construction Company, shared his experience dealing with ElectroMech. He said, "We are happy to have partnered with ElectroMech as they have not only delivered cranes of our precise requirements, but also stood by us during our lean patch. ElectroMech delivered in time despite delayed payments from our side when we were affected by the global recession." At the forum, the clients also acknowledged and appreciated ElectroMech's ethics and commitments towards the fulfillment of their requirements.

Tushar Mehendale, Managing Director, ElectroMech, gave an insight into the company's operations and its focus areas for future growth. For an industry where safety is of paramount importance, the company has introduced safest lifting solutions suitable for use in hazardous, explosion-prone areas, in association with STAHL Crane Systems GmBH, Germany, the world leader in Explosion-Protection technology. The company's hoists and cranes which are suitable for hazardous atmosphere for both Gas (Zone 1, Zone 2) and Dust (Zone 21, Zone 22) are also certified according to ATEX. According to Mehendale, the highest reliability EX products from STAHL, which are proven worldwide, are backed in India by the industry expertise, nationwide network and acclaimed service support of ElectroMech.

ElectroMech has partnered with the Chinese construction machinery giant Zoomlion to manufacture and sell their range of tower cranes in India through a joint venture. With the formation of Zoomlion ElectroMech India (ZEIPL) in 2013, the construction industry in India has, at its disposal, Zoomlion's entire range of tower cranes as well as several 'made for India' models. Said Arun Bishnoi, Director, Sales, ZEIPL, "The strategic alliance between ElectroMech and Zoomlion aims to combine the advanced technology and manufacturing expertise of Zoomlion with ElectroMech's strong base in India and its strengths in sales and service to provide top-class tower cranes to Indian customers."

ElectroMech's service subsidiary Cranedge was set up to cater to the void in the market for professional offerings in the after sales service space.
