Major electric overhead travelling (EOT) cranes maker ElectroMech is planning to add a manufacturing facility to its operations in the UAE. The company?s Dubai-based subsidiary, ElectroMech FZE, offers a range of own-brand EOT cranes, as well as hoists and cranes from its co-operation partner Stahl CraneSystems from Germany. According to Tushar Mehendale, Managing Director, ElectroMech, the firm has seen an uptake in product demand, thanks to new projects coming online and clients improving their capacity utilisation. Mehendale hopes that with a dedicated manufacturing facility in the Middle East, ElectroMech will be in a better position to serve that market.
The new manufacturing facility is expected to be operational within the year, and will operate in addition to ElectroMech?s Jebel Ali office.
